Keynote Speaker
Gene Kranz
NASA Flight Control Director and Presidential Medal of Freedom Recipient

Successful executives create business strategies and implement best practices for uncovering hidden marketplace opportunities. Within corporations that span the globe and are competing in highly sophisticated marketplaces, the design and execution of best practices requires accurate and timely insight to information on all business transactions.
Organizations are collecting data at every level of their business and in volumes that in the past were unimaginable. Discerning among all of the data collected and managing the most critical information is both a technological and human challenge that all organizations are wrestling with, today. Highly competitive markets are increasing corporate pressure to solve more pervasive business problems in less time and with scarce resources.
As a result, technology point solutions risk extinction as converging technologies pave the wave for rapid application development tools that can deploy best practices and deliver results faster throughout the enterprise.
No one recognizes the value of converging technology and resources to achieve success better than Gene Kranz. Mr. Kranz served as the flight director of NASA's Mission Control for many Apollo missions, including the Apollo 11 lunar landing and the successful return of the Apollo 13 crew. One of his more notable quotes is, "Failure Is Not an Option."

He was also responsible for the design, development, maintenance, and operations of all related mission facilities, as well as the preparation of the Shuttle flight software.
